Psychology I
This is a general survey course designed to provide the student with an understanding of the basic concepts and techniques of modern psychology as a behavioral science. The course will focus on behavior, approaches to research, learning, sensation and perception, memory, and consciousness. The course will also include an introductory survey of the social science perspective. Areas of study include language, intelligence and cognition, development, motivation and emotion, health psychology, and social psychology.
Students may only take this course once.
