In this course we will be exploring the two Medieval societies of Europe and Japan. Both have similar but differing forms of government, social hierarchy religion, and warfare. We will look at the two cultures beginnings and how their feudal societies eventually ended. At the end of the class each student will write an argumentative essay of which society would win if they actually were placed next to each other at the same time of their Medieval periods.
