Inspections

Inspection is a daily bane in every Patrols life, there is no need for it to be but there it is...

It is when the leaders come around to check all is well in the patrol and patrol site. They look at a number of areas:

• Tent Pitching - This is to ensure your tent is going to keep you warm, dry and not fall on top of you

• Toilet Tent - Is the toilet too full to use? is there soap to wash your hands, is your washkit there to use? has it been used?

• Dining Shelter - are your cooker, cooking utensils, Pans and Plates clean? Are the surfaces clean and usable for cooking. Is there food laying around? Have you got fresh water?

• Patrol Tent - Is it tidy enough to find your kit? are sleeping bags dry? will they stay dry if it rains and the doors are open?
