Exporting and Importing Projects

This tutorial will teach you how to import projects, as well as exporting projects.

Skill 1. Importing projects
I have made a sample app for you: RandomNumber.
Download the file RandomNumber.aia by clicking on the button below. It's in a file format called .AIA. Make sure you place your file in the Downloads of your computer.
Go to MIT App Inventor.
On the top, you see Projects. Click on it and select Import project (.aia) from my computer.
Choose you file in the popup.
After you have chosen RandomNumber.aia, press OK.
After that, it may take a few seconds to load. After loading, you will see the project RandomNumber.
Skill 2. Exporting projects
Open a random project.
In the opened project, you see Projects on the top. Click on that and select Export selected project (.aia) to my computer.
After that, you will find that your computer has downloaded the project for you. You can now share it to other people, or save the AIA file for later use.
