J. Kenneth (Ken) McKee

December 20, 1947 - December 12, 2009


Ken was born December 20, 1947, to Joe and Mildred McKee in Red Oak, Iowa. He died December 12, 2009, following surgery in Los Angeles, California.

Ken graduated from Nishna Valley High School in Hastings, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Patricia Livingston on August 1, 1970. They made their home in Emerson, Iowa, where Ken farmed for many years.

In 2004, Ken and Pat moved to Omaha when they purchased Tiny Town Village in Gretna, Nebraska. Being the owner of Tiny Town fit Ken perfectly as he had a unique talent for making people smile and laugh, especially his family. He was an avid runner who loved boating and spending winters in Hawaii. He was also known for his passion for 1965 Corvettes.

Ken was survived by his wife, Pat; son, Joshua John (wife, Becky) McKee; daughter, Jennifer (husband, Darrin) Bradley, and grandchildren, Madison McKee, Ty Bradley, Cade Bradley and Lennon Bradley. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Ken was laid to rest following a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Roeder Mortuary, 2727 N. 108th Street in Omaha.
