This is the main area am focusing on in my permaculture work since 2003, when I decided to set up the Nodo Espiral of the Permaculture Academy here in Spain, which in 2013 became the Integral Permaculture Academy, with students world-wide as we've been teaching online in english as well as spanish since 2007.

In 2003 we didn't just realize that there was a need for another node of the PC Academy in Spain, and also that there is (generally, & world-wide) an urgent need to re-form the permaculture curriculum so that people don't just 'learn' to copy designs, but to actually think like designers ...
What preceded & informed this more than anything was a long research project I undertook, interviewing Permaculture Pioneers, and generally people I admired as great designers.
