Digital Video Broadcast

I have set up my PC as an HTPC (Home theatre PC).

As part of this setup I have added two TV tuners.

The picture is output to an LG 27MU67 4K monitor

The sound goes to my SONY STR-860

The sound is fed into a SONY STR-DN860 7.1 150 Watt Receiver

These are a DVB-S2 tuner and a DVB-T2 tuner.

There are many devices that can be used to capture TV broadcasts.

TV-card (usually a PCI or PCIe card that fits in a slot in the motherboard of your PC)

USB-TV ( connected to a USB port)

For the above you will need an aerial connection for DVB-T transmissions anda satellite feed from a dish for a DVB-S transmission.
