Tequila Shrimp

2 lbs. shrimp raw, peeled and deveined.

Marinade - combine together:

½ cup olive oil

1 tsp salt

¼ cup tequila

¼-1/2 tsp cayenne

2 cloves minced garlic

½ cup Heinz chili sauce

½ tsp red pepper flakes or to taste

Marinate shrimp in a zipper bag overnight with marinade ingredients.

Thread marinated shrimp onto bamboo skewers which have been soaked in water. I like to use flat bamboo skewers because the shrimp don't twist on the skewer while turning over on the grill.

Grill skewers 2-4 minutes on each side.
