11. Robert Surtees 1847 [1212]

ROBERT SURTEES was born in Durham on the 21 December 1847 (4Q Durham).

He married 1/ MARY MILBURN in Lanchester, Durham in 1876 (3Q Lanchester) Mary was born in England on the 5 August 1852.

The family emigrated to the United States of America between 1878- 1888.

Mary died in Atlantic City, New Jersey in 1907, aged 55.

Robert's second wife was 2/ ETTA ? I presume this marriage was after divorce rather than spousal death as he and Etta had a child together and although possible, it is unlikely that he would have started a new family in his 60's.

Robert died in Trenton, New Jersey in 1914, aged 77
