BERNARD MOORE BLAKESTON, in London on the 25 Nov 1891 (1Q) and lived in India.

He enlisted in the Indian Army Reserves of Officers and served in the 1st King George's Own Gurkha Rifles (The Maluan Regiment) as a 2nd Lieutenant before being promoted to Lieutenat. He was killed in Mesopotamia on the 25 Mar 1917, aged 25. His sacrifice for King and country is commemorated on the Basra memorial cemetery Panel 43 & 65.
