Resolutions

Thru lonely night and pressured day, when people won't be friends,

I grab my old guitar and play,

And there confusion ends.

It's my guitar, my strongest love,

the surest friend I've got.

She gives my fears a friendly shove,

and mocks 'em as they rot.

What has she that floats me free?

What has she for me?

Solutions found with inert sound.

Solutions in her sound.

Tinkling notes of midnight hour.Hard strung beats of jam.

They all possess the rarest power,

to tell me who I am.

The healing songs, like wetness pour,

from deep within her box.

Splashing, swirling, rippling more.

Smoothing Jaggered rocks.

What draws me near to her to hear

those waves that drown my fear?

Solutions found with inner sound.

Solutions in her sound.
