2020 Walks
This is the set of 2020 Walks - our members should receive an email or paper copy with contact numbers for the walks, for privacy reasons these are not published on the website, and anyone wanting to come along on a walk is asked to send an email to fenedge.footpathgroup@gmail.com which will be communicated to the walk organiser. This system is currently in process of being replaced by googlegroup email, so please use this group email instead once you have subscribed.
For planning reasons most organisers prefer more than one weeks notice if you'd like to join the walk.

Details:
10.00am. Meet at Broad Lane / High Street Junction. Distance 6 miles approx. Stout Walking Boots a must and Sticks will be useful. Please bring snack and drink we will have a short break. We will walk along the Cut Bank to Rampton Bridge, cross the road and then walk along the other bank to pick up the Footpath which leads to King Street. Walk down Cow Lane to pick up Archie’s Way, then back to Cottenham.

Details:
This is a circular morning walk of just over 6 miles starting in Fulbourn and taking in Fulbourn Fen Nature Reserve. Bring coffee/tea and a snack if you wish. We should finish a little after 1 pm.
Meet at CVC for car shares leaving at 9:30, or at 10:00 at the unmarked parking area by the wood on the left-hand side of Stonebridge Lane. Grid reference TL 526557.

Summer Walks 2020 7th-10th September 2020
Note
We have not planned for pub stops this year, but there will be at least refreshment break on each walk - bring your own snacks and or a packed lunch.
Please also be aware that we are meeting at the walk starts - please arrange your own transport and talk to us about parking.

Monday 7th September - Kingfishers Bridge (6 miles)
A 6 mile walk staring at Kingfisher Bridge Nature Reserve meet in main car park (TL5466 7290) at 10 am.
Tuesday 8th September - Rampton -> Longstanton (7 miles)
A seven mile circular walk starting on Rampton Village Green 10 am, we will set out along Reynolds Drove and walk to Longstanton, on the way back we will pass through the edge of the new Northstowe development and head back along the busway.
Wednesday 9th September - Clayhithe - Stow Fen - Anglesey (6 miles)
A six mile circular walk starting from the layby on the Horningsea road (TL 49809 63036), we will walk past Stow Fen nature reserve and through the woods near Anglesey Abbey taking in a variety of landscapes.
Thursday 10th September - Histon - Girton (6 miles)
Another circular walk starting at Histon Pond and walking towards Girton and the surrounding countryside.
