2015 Walks
This is the set of 2015 Walks - our members should receive an email or paper copy with contact numbers for the walks, for privacy reasons these are not published on the website, and anyone wanting to come along on a walk is asked to send an email to fenedge.footpathgroup@gmail.com which will be communicated to the walk organiser.
For planning reasons most organisers prefer more than one weeks notice if you'd like to join the walk.
17th January 2015
A brisk 7 mile morning circular walk based on Waterbeach and Fen River's Way. Meet at Waterbeach Green, ready for a 9:30am start. Finish at 1:00 pm

A 7 mile circulalar walk taking in GogMagog Down, Stapleford and Wandlebury. Bring a packed lunch. Meet CVC car park 9.30am for car sharing or Gog Magog car park at 10am. Comfort stop at Wandlebury.

Girton and surrounding countryside. A 5/6 mile walk starting at 10.00am in Girton (car park location to be confirmed) There is an optional extra to take in Girton College grounds of about 1.5 miles Bring a packed lunch Confirm with Ian/Ann.

Janet and Eileen are pleased to lead the walk detailed below and would like you to join us.
Meet at CVC car park to leave at 09.30am or meet us at the Anglian Church, Park street, Dry Drayton at 09.45am. This is a circular walk of between 9 and 10 miles starting and finishing in Dry Drayton and also visiting the villages of Hardwick, Coton and Madingley.

A 6.5 mile walk, the route has inclines but most are gentle. The main walk passes through the picturesque villages of Dalham, Moulton and Gazeley.
Please bring a packed lunch. Note that there are unlikely to be any toilet facilities available. Also we will all meet at Cottenham Village College. at 9.30 am to car share because the journey is 30 miles and there is very limited parking at the start.

A five and a half mile winter walk across fields with several points of interest. Meet at 10.00 in designated parking area near church in Coton village. We briefly visit Madingley American Cemetery, with its new visitors centre with the opportunity to revisit after walk,coffee and snack easily under cover,if weather is poor , and the chance to seek refreshment at Coton Garden Centre. Bring binoculars for birds and views.
