Follow these steps to create a slide show: Create the album- Log in as pack95admin.
- Go to Picasa to create a web photo album in Google's Picasa service.
- Follow these instructions to create a web album. Make sure to mark the album's visibility as "Anyone with the link".
- Copy the URL (or "e-mail link") for the album (see "Link to this album" on the right side of the album's page).
Create the new page for the slide show
- Click "Create page" at the top of any page (sign in at the bottom of the page first if you don't see it).
- Select the "Photo Album" template to use.
- Enter a name for the page following the established syntax, something like "photos-2007-oct-hiking".
- Don't change the "Put page under Photo Albums" selection.
- Click "Create page".
- Select the Picasa Web slideshow gadget properties and paste in the URL previously copied from your Picasa Web album.
- Click to save the slideshow gadget.
- Change the web page header to a good name for your slide show.
- Save the edited web page.
- Go to Photo Albums and click on "Edit page" (sign in first if necessary).
- Create a link by typing in a month and album name, following the established syntax (something like "Feb Woodbound Inn Overnight"). The newest links go at the top of the page.
- Select the album name portion of the text you just entered (e.g. "Woodbound Inn Overnight") and click on "Link" on the toolbar.
- Add a link to the page you just created by opening "Pack 95 Home" and then "Photo Albums" and then selecting the existing page you just created.
- Save the edited web page.
