Cub Scouting helps young boys and girls:
Learn to get along with others through group activities
Gain physical skills through games, sports & crafts
Strengthen mental skills such as problem solving & calculating
Develop personal independence and make values-based decisions
Become responsible citizens through service and leadership
Cub Scout Pack 95 is located in Westford, Massachusetts and is part of the West Wind District of the Spirit of Adventure Council, which is a part of the Scouts BSA. Pack 95 is chartered by the Westford Sportsmen's Club and normally meets there (map) one Sunday each month, September through June. Special events, such as the Pinewood Derby and the Blue and Gold Banquet, are often held at alternate locations.
If you are new to scouting, please check out our introduction to scouting. Cub Scouting means "doing" - everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys and girls doing activities and projects. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Most of the activities happen right in the den and pack meetings, outings, and overnight camping adventures. Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a child's sense of belonging.
