Union Station with CPR

On 1893-04-26, Mr AAWright of Renfrew spoke to JRBooth in Renfrew on the prospect of a union station with the CPR. Booth indicated he was willing to cooperate, should the CPR be willing. However, he would wait on a meeting arranged by the local Council between the OAPS and CPR. [Renfrew Mercury, 1893-04-28]

When the Reeve, Jas. Craig wrote to request a meeting with representatives of the CPR on 1893-04-27, however, Vice President T.G.Shaughnessy responded that they knew nothing about the OA&PS, and would not therefore discuss a union station at that time. [Renfrew Mercury, 1893-05-12]
