Panopto is the College's video recording and sharing platform, allowing you to organise and share tools designed for use in the classroom and for remote learning through Canvas

ClickView includes an extensive library of interactive educational videos specially designed for Further Education.

Microsoft Teams is the College's primary platform for live video and virtual meetings. Recordings are saved to Microsoft OneDrive. 

Box of Broadcasts is an on-demand TV and radio service for Education. Students can record programmes from over 65 free-to-air channels, including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Film 4, and Sky News, as well as access an extensive archive of playlists.

Learning Technologies Lab in a Box includes equipment such as Swivl devices for classroom recording.

Microsoft Stream is a video-sharing service integrated with Microsoft 365.

ThingLink is an education technology platform used to augment images and videos, and create virtual tours with immersive visual experiences.

Kahoot! is a game-based learning platform used to create great fun quizzes for formative assessments. 

Padlet is a web-based virtual “bulletin” board where users can collaborate, reflect, post comments, share links and pictures, all in a secure location.

The Blended Learning Consortium includes ready-to-use interactive e-learning content made by and for further education specialists.

Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is a free video discussion platform from Microsoft that helps educators see and hear from every student in class and foster supportive social learning.

Blackboard Ally is an integration in Canvas LMS that helps to improve accessibility. Ally scans courses and course content, to determine an overall score of accessibility compliance.

Immersive Reader is used to read text out loud, change font sizes, line spacing, and background colours, split the words into syllables, highlight sets of lines for greater focus. It is available in all Microsoft 365 applications and is integrated with Canvas.

Assignments are assessment activities in Canvas, such as Quizzes, graded Discussions, and online submissions. Folio (Portfolium) is a Canvas-integrated digital portfolio tool used to visually showcase academic and professional accomplishments and experiences. Visit https://cogc.instructure.com/ or use the Canvas Teacher app.

Microsoft 365 (previously Office 365) includes integrations with Assignments in Canvas, allowing teachers to easily attach templates, which students can work on individually using Office applications online.

Solar is SQA's free online e-assessment system which is used to deliver tests on a range of devices. 

Turnitin is a similarity detection engine integrated with Canvas, used to identify issues with citations and plagiarism. 

Onefile is a commercial e-portfolio system designed specifically to support the delivery of SVQ awards within a Modern Apprenticeship.

Microsoft Forms is an online survey creator, part of Office 365, that allows you to build custom surveys, polls, and quizzes. Easily monitor results as they come in and share outcomes with others.

Wakelet is a collaborative online scrapbook for on-the-fly brainstorming, collections, and curation.

Genially is an intuitive app that allows teachers to quickly develop interactive, and animated learning content.
