Learning & Teaching Academy

Welcome

The Learning & Teaching Academy has been established to position City of Glasgow College as a sector leading tertiary academic development unit. The Academy is formed of three teams, Learning Technology, Lecturer Development and Library Services, and brings together expertise in instructional design, academic development, learning technology and information science to enhance learning and teaching at the College.

Our delivery is shaped by our Student Academic Experience Strategy and through our approach to Blended Learning.

The Learning and Teaching Academy is based on the four pillars of learning: pedagogy; practice; accreditation and reflection.  See the Our Approach section of the website to view key information, and the core values and aims underpinning each of these pillars.
