What is the Deeper Learning Symposium?
The annual JCPS Deeper Learning Symposium is an educator-led conference hosting ~2,000 local, national, and international educators (teachers, principals, and district leaders). Jefferson County Public Schools continues on its transformational journey to engage and empower each student via deeper, more PERSONalized learning throughout their PK-12 experience. We believe equity and excellence are inextricably intertwined. DLS sessions focus on reimagining learning relations, experiences, and environments for our youth and expanding, deepening, and honing the pedagogical/school improvement “lenses and tools” of our educators to create powerful, life-changing learning for each and every learner.
