Our approach to deeper and professional learning
The Deeper Learning team supports teachers, professional learning communities, administrators, schools, and departments with learner-centered pedagogy. We are a team of educators who are growing the capacity of JCPS teachers to design Deeper Learning experiences for and with our students. Our mission is to grow our teachers’ abilities to make rich learning experiences a reality for every student in a JCPS classroom now and for years to come. To do this, we highlight and spread deeper learning in JCPS classrooms, facilitate conversations toward more authentic teaching and learning, and offer PERSONalized professional learning support. We believe that the professional learning experiences of educators should be learner-centered, just like those of our students!
