How to save files in SDLXLIFF format in Deja Vu X3 (when source file is SDLXLIFF)

1. Click on the File Tab > select ‘Deliver’ in File Menu

2. Déjà Vu X3 will prompt you to select

• • 1. File (SDLXLIFF) received from PM

    2. Destination

3. Other options are pre-set – leave as is.

4. Select Export Destination directory.

5. Click Export.

6. Then optionally, it will validate all the translated sentences, checking for problems with tags. If Déjà Vu X3 finds a problem it will prompt you to fix it.

7. Fix the problem and click OK.

8. Déjà Vu X3 will create a subfolder inside the export directory, named after the code for the specific locale of your target language and SDLXLIFF file(s) will be there.

a. For example, if the target language is US English, the new directory would be called C:\Users\Desktop\My Project\en_us
