Deadlines

Sometimes Project Managers will want a few files returned every couple of days. This is so that editing and layout can start on these files while the rest are still in progress.

It is very important to meet this kind of deadline if it is required for the job.

Translation/editing is just one part of a process that includes engineering, desktop publishing, quality assurance, etc. If you miss your deadline, then others will not be able to do their work.

Failure to submit work in small batches, if required, may result in the job being given to someone else, in which case you will not be paid.

Deadlines are important!

“My computer crashed” or “my computer has a virus” are unacceptable excuses for delays.

We expect Eqholytes to be professional enough to back up their work and keep their machines protected from viruses.

If you are having problems completing a project or have fallen behind for some reason, let us know right away!

If you give us plenty of advance notice, it is likely we can work around the problem and you will still be paid in full.

The ability to follow instructions is at least as important as the ability to perform your task.
