Important Information
Early Dismissal Phase-Out
The 1:25 early release will phase out after September 8. We will return to regular 2:25 dismissal on Monday, September 11.
No checkouts after 12:30 on 1:25 dismissal days.
Staffing Updates
While much of our attention has been focused on the bussing situation, there remains a significant shortage of qualified teachers across the country. Liberty is not immune to this need and as we have expanded our staff with increased enrollment, finding staff to fill these positions has been difficult. With full transparency, please see our staffing status below, along with instructional plans. We are consistently searching for and interviewing potential hires to fill our remaining vacancies.
Visual Arts - A candidate has accepted the position and is working through the hiring process.
Chemistry - A candidate has accepted the position and is working through the hiring process. (Starting 9/5, all students in the Chemistry classes awaiting the teacher will begin lessons on the Edgenuity platform for instruction/grading.)
Engineering - We have an interview scheduled with a candidate (9/5).
Biology I - We are seeking qualified applicants. (Students will begin work in Edgenuity on 9/5. Lessons will include embedded instruction/grading.)

2024 Coke Scholars application!
As summer breaks begin to draw to a close, we write to remind you that the 2024 application for the Coca-Cola Scholarship (open to high school students who will graduate during the 2023-2024 academic year) will be available from our website August 1 through October 2, 2023. Note that we have an earlier deadline this year! Please plan to share this opportunity with your graduating students who are having a significant positive impact in your school and community through their leadership and service.
