Senior Parents and students,
FAFSA has announced a release date of December 31, 2023 for 2024-2025 FAFSA. Please familiarize yourself with the process so that you are prepared to complete the FAFSA as soon as it is released.
All Parents and students should have an FSA ID. Remember, parents who already have an FSA ID for themselves or for an older child will use the same FSA ID.
Included (flyer) are links for videos that you can watch to prepare yourself for the process when the FAFSA opens in December.
Seniors should check the Senior Google Classroom often for scholarship opportunities.
Parents and students can also sign up for the LOSFA Student Hub to "follow your TOPS". This platform can be used throughout your college matriculation to follow your TOPS eligibility and recertification.
We have also included a document for you to record your logins and passwords and keep in a safe location. Remember, you will be using this information for the 2-4+ years that the student is in college.

Transportation RFID Cards
LMHS has not yet received the RFID cards for bus riders. However, they are in the process of being distributed to schools. Once they have been received, all students will receive their individual card. Cards are required for bus riding and students will scan while getting on and off the bus. Parents will be able to use the bus tracking app to monitor their students on the bus they are riding that day.
