Important Information
Schedule
Starting Monday, September 11:
School will begin at 7:05 (not 7:10).
Individuals who have been arriving at the end of carpool - please make adjustments to your arrival. Students who are not IN CLASS at 7:05 are considered tardy for school.
We start carpool at 6:40 each morning. Friday morning at 6:50, there were 7 cars in the carpool line. (The carpool line tends to get backed up as many people arrive in the last minutes.)
New Bus Routes begin TOMORROW. Students must be at their new bus stop 10 minutes prior to their new pick-up time. New bus routes were sent home with students Thursday on Blue Paper.
If you do not know your students bus route information, you can call the hotline until 5:00 this evening.
Economic Survey
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE complete the Economic Survey Form. (This is the old paper/pencil lunch form.) https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application
Liberty is set to lose about $130,000 in federal funding allotment next year unless 60% of the school has qualifying applications.
Fee waivers and Fee Reductions for national tests such as ACT, PSAT, and AP require a verified lunch form.
No one at Liberty will see the results of the Economic Survey Form. This is managed through the Child Nutrition Office and they simply provide LMHS school counselors a confirmation list of students eligible for fee waivers and fee reductions for national exams.
Paper forms are available in the front office at request - however, online applications are preferred to ensure the most privacy.
NACAC College Fair
The NACAC is a national college fair that travels around the country. NACAC will be in Baton Rouge at the River Center on Tuesday, September 19. Juniors and Seniors are the target audience for the college fair.
