IT Software for Accessibility Workshop

Semester 2, Week 2

Tuesday 20th February & Friday 23rd February

2-3pm, PS/C/003

Due to limited space you will need to sign up for one of these session (see below).  On the day - if there is space you'll be welcome to join us if you haven't signed up, but priority will be given to those who have.

What's the workshop about?

The University has a wealth of IT Software to support accessibility that's available for free to both students and staff.  From screen readers to mind mapping tools, they could be a key resource to help you with your studies.  However, as useful as this software is, it can be tricky to find out what there is, how it works and how to get hold of it.

So Alice Bennet, the University's IT Accessibility Support Specialist, has kindly agreed to come along and run a workshop to help you with all of the above!

How the Workshop will Run

This is a relaxed session, where Alice will run through a general summary of what is available, with a few demos to show how things work, finishing with some time to answer your questions.
