Come along to our workshop and find out about the wealth of IT resources the University offers to support accessibility and studying.
The University has a wealth of IT Software to support accessibility that's available for free to both students and staff. From screen readers to mind mapping tools, they could be a key resource to help you with your studies. However, as useful as this software is, it can be tricky to find out what there is, how it works and how to get hold of it.
So Alice Bennet, the University's IT Accessibility Support Specialist, has kindly agreed to come along and run a workshop to help you with all of the above!
This is a relaxed session, where Alice will run through a general summary of what is available, with a few demos to show how things work, finishing with some time to answer your questions.
If you would like some help with downloading, setting up or troubleshooting some of the software, please bring along your laptop.
Otherwise you don't need to bring along anything specific with you.
We're unlikely to fill up PS/C/108 as this is usally a small group affair, but as there is a number limit to the room we run a sign up system for this workshop just in case.
Use the form below to sign up for this workshop (ensure you are signed into your UoY google account to access the form).
