UAL Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Cynhyrchu a Pherfformio Cerddoriaeth

Mae'r cwrs Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Cynhyrchu a Pherfformio Cerddoriaeth gan UAL yn gwrs sy'n ymarferol ar y cyfan sy'n eich darparu chi a'r sgiliau angenrheidiol i ddatblygu fel Cerddor proffesiynol. Mae hefyd yn eich galluogi chi i fedru arbenigo yn y meysydd sy'n diddori chi orau mewn cerddoriaeth - boed yn gynhyrchu, perfformio neu gyfansoddi.

Dros y ddwy flynedd o'r cwrs byddwch yn dysgu i ddatblygu eich sgiliau fel perfformiwr i'ch galluogi i gyrraedd eich potensial fel perfformiwr. Byddwch hefyd yn dysgu'r gallu i gynhyrchu cerddoriaeth yn defnyddio caledwedd a meddalwedd megis Logic Pro, sy'n cael ei ddefnyddio gan bobl broffesiynol yn y diwydiant megis Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran a Billie Eilish. Bydd cyfuno'r sgiliau yma yn eich galluogi i greu recordiadau o safon uchel a chynnal perfformiadau byw penigamp.

The UAL Level 3 Diploma in Music Production and Performance is a highly practical course that provides you with the skills necessary to develop as a professional musician. It also allows you to specialise in the areas of music that interest you most - whether it's production, performance, or composition.

Over the two-year course, you will learn to develop your skills as a performer to help you reach your full potential. You will also learn how to produce music using hardware and software such as Logic Pro, which is used by industry professionals like Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish. Combining these skills will enable you to create high-quality recordings and deliver top-notch live performances.

A specific aim of offering a UAL course in the sixth form in Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni was to be able to teach skills to students that better reflected the real experiences of professional musicians working within the industry. Mae Diploma Lefel 3 Perfformio a cynhyrchu Cerddoriaeth wedi'i gynllunio i roi gwybodaeth, sgiliau a dealltwriaeth i fyfyrwyr sydd eu hangen i gael mynediad astudio cerddoriaeth ymhellach ac hefyd i'ch paratoi i gyflogaeth yn y diwydiant cerddorol.

Mae'n darparu cyfle i'r rheini sydd â diddordeb mewn cerddoriaeth i archwilio, datblygu a phrofi eu creadigrwydd o fewn strwythur cymhwyster sy'n ysgogi ac yn heriol ac sy'n eich galluogi chi i ymchilio i mewn i'ch diddordebau chi yn y maes.

Gall y cymhwyster hwn eich galluogi i:

• Datrys problemau cymhleth drwy gymhwyso perfformiad a chynhyrchiad cerddoriaeth neu dealltwriaeth ymarferol, theoretig a technegol.

• Adolygu'n feirniadol, effeithiolrwydd a phriodoldeb dulliau, gweithredoedd a chanlyniadau

• Defnyddio sgiliau gwerthuso ac adlewyrchol er mwyn cymryd cyfrifoldeb am eich dysgu, datblygiad a phenderfyniadau eich hun

• Cymryd cyfrifoldeb am yr ymchwil, y cynllunio, rheoli amser a gweithredoedd i gael mynediad at gyfleoedd dilyniant

The Level 3 Diploma in Music Performance and Production is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to gain entry into further music studies and also to prepare you for employment in the music industry.

It offers an opportunity for those with an interest in music to explore, develop, and test their creativity within a challenging and stimulating qualification framework that allows you to delve into your own interests in the field.

This qualification will enable you to:

• Have a critical and contextual awareness of different perspectives and approaches within music performance and production or related subjects of study or work

• Research, analyse and evaluate relevant information and ideas in order to develop creative solutions

• Understand, adapt and safely use appropriate and practical methods and skills for creative production

• Solve complex problems through the application of music performance and production or related practical, theoretical and technical understanding

• Critically review the effectiveness and appropriateness of methods, actions and results

• Use evaluative and reflective skills in order to take responsibility for own learning, development and decision making

• Take responsibility for the research, planning, time‐management and actions to access progression opportunities

• Effectively present themselves and their work to appropriate audiences.

• Uned 2: Gwrando beirniadol a chyfansoddi cerddoriaeth.

• Uned 3: Y diwydiant cerddoriaeth ac ymarfer proffesiynol.

• Uned 4: Ymwybyddiaeth feirniadol ac o gyd-destun ar gyfer perfformio a chynhyrchu cerddoriaeth.

Blwyddyn 12 a 13:

• Uned 5: Cynhyrchu cerddoriaeth mewn cyd-destun 

• Uned 6: Perfformio cerddoriaeth mewn cyd-destun

• Uned 7: Paratoi ar gyfer astudiaethau arbenigol mewn perfformio a chynhyrchu cerddoriaeth.

Blwyddyn 13:

• Uned 8: Prosiect perfformio cerddoriaeth ar y cyd

Year 12:

• Unit 1 Principles of music performance and production

• Unit 2 Critical listening and music composition
