“Name Design”

Purpose:

• To review the Fundamentals of Design

• To examine how the Fundamentals of Design pertains to “Graphic Design”;

• To use creative problem-solving skills to create a unique, original “Name” Design.

I incorporated letter placement and color contrast into this piece. They are both elements of graphic and design and I did my best to present them. I placed the letters in places where the eye naturally goes and blended them into the background to represent letter placement. In addition to that, I presented color contrast by contrasting the trees against the snow and sky. Overall, this project was quite fun and I enjoyed being able to get creative with presenting my name.
