“This quarter we worked with two different coral scientists in the Florida area to learn about stony coral tissue loss disease that is affecting the coral in Florida. With that research we met with two filmmakers and editors to help us create an impact video that will help spread awareness for this concerning topic.”

Learning Chinese & Finding Community
“In the beginning, I thought that learning Chinese would be a self-paced experience, however, it turned into so much more. With help from my mentor, Mrs. Carrigan, I studied over 200+ vocab words, as well as different forms of Chinese culture. In the second semester, I found myself more on the Administrative side when I joined and became a board member of CAFAM! Finally, I had the pleasure of attending some cultural events that increased my knowledge of Chinese culture.”
