Purpose

To become familiar with the Photoshop workspace;

Specifically, understand and demonstrate how to use:

Brush Tool

Mixer Brush Tool

Paint Bucket Tool

Shape Tool

Gradient Tool

Eraser Tool

The part of this assignment that had the most impact on my learning was experimenting with new types of design. Usually when I use Photoshop I merge a mixture of text and photographs, but this assignment had me creating my own organic shapes and colors. I really like getting to experiment and figuring out how diverse the software really is.
