Abstract

Resum

This project explores the stop-motion animation technique, addressing both its theoretical and practical aspects. Based on a personal motivation rooted in an interest in art and the possibility of combining different artistic disciplines, such as drawing, design, sculpture and cinema, stop-motion is analysed as a form of creative expression that allows the development of a handcrafted and unique audiovisual product.

Within the theoretical framework, a review of the history of this technique is carried out, including its origins, main references and animation studios, as well as its different types and applications in cinema, advertising and other audiovisual media.

The practical framework consists of the development of an original short film in which

the acquired knowledge is applied, following the stages of the creative process: pre-production, production and post-production.

This project has allowed me to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and to put my creativity into practice in order to achieve the final result.

Aquest treball explora la tècnica d’animació stop-motion, abordant tant els seus aspectes teòrics com pràctics. A partir d’una motivació personal basada en l’interès per l’art i la possibilitat de combinar diferents disciplines artístiques, com el dibuix, el disseny, l’escultura i el cinema, s’analitza l’stop-motion com una forma d’expressió creativa que permet desenvolupar un producte audiovisual artesanal i únic.

En el marc teòric es realitza un recorregut per la història d’aquesta tècnica, el seu origen, els seus principals referents i estudis d’animació, així com els seus diferents tipus i aplicacions en el cinema, la publicitat i altres mitjans audiovisuals.

El marc pràctic consisteix en el desenvolupament d’un curtmetratge original en què s’apliquen els coneixements adquirits, seguint les fases del procés creatiu: preproducció, producció i postproducció.

Aquest projecte m’ha permès adquirir coneixements teòrics i pràctics i posar en pràctica la meva creativitat per assolir el resultat final.
