Abstract

Resum

In this project, research has been carried out on the autogyro, a rotary-wing aircraft that is very important in aviation history and combines elements from both airplanes and helicopters. In the first part, the main characteristics were studied, such as how the rotor works, the principle of flight and a comparison between other aircraft. Its history was also researched alongside with the evolution of the design. In addition, the modern applications of the aircraft were studied paired with a small investigation into the possible original creator

On the other hand, to deepen the research, a practical part was carried out in which the studied characteristics were put into practice through the design and creation of a radio-controlled autogyro model. In this part, the more technical part of the project can be seen, where many problems and challenges were solved in the construction.

En aquest treball s'ha investigat sobre l'autogir, una aeronau de vol rotatiu molt important per l'aviació que combina elements d'avió i helicòpter. A la primera part s'han estudiat les característiques principals com el funcionament del rotor, el principi de vol, diferències respecte a les altres aeronaus, s'ha investigat la seva història i s'ha analitzat l'evolució del seu disseny. També s'ha investigat les aplicacions que ofereix actualment aquesta aeronau juntament amb una petita investigació sobre el possible creador original.

Per altra banda, per aprofundir la recerca, s'ha realitzat una part pràctica on s'ha pogut portar a la realitat les característiques estudiades mitjançant el disseny i creació d'un model d'autogir ràdio controlat. En aquesta part es pot veure la part més tècnica del treball, on s'han resolt multitud de problemes i reptes durant la construcció.
