Resum

From the interest in the twinning concept and learning about the twinned towns in Baix Empordà, research has been conducted to gather all the relevant information, which is compiled both in the thesis and on a website, making the first document of its kind. Additionally, similarities between Tavernes de la Valldigna and Torroella de Montgrí have been studied to propose their twinning. After a comprehensive investigation of their similarities, this proposal has been presented to the representatives of both city councils, and individuals from various organizations have been interviewed to obtain information and discuss this project. All of them have shown a disposition to participate in the related activities.

Considering the analysis conducted in this project, it is possible to initiate the twinning process.

Partint de l’interès pel concepte d’agermanament i per conèixer els pobles agermanats del Baix Empordà, s’ha fet una recerca de tota la informació corresponent, que està recopilada tant al treball com a una pàgina web, de manera que esdevenen el primer document d’aquestes característiques. A més, s’han estudiat els aspectes semblants entre Tavernes de la Valldigna i Torroella de Montgrí per proposar el seu agermanament. Després de fer una recerca molt completa de les similituds, s’ha explicat aquesta proposta als representants dels dos ajuntaments i s’han entrevistat persones de diferents entitats per obtenir informació i comentar aquest projecte. Totes elles s’han mostrat disposades a participar en les activitats relacionades.

Tenint en compte l’anàlisi realitzat en aquest treball és viable iniciar el procés d’agermanament.
