Our School

- We are a brand new Secondary School.

- We work under the 1x1 programme, using Chromebooks.

- At the Institut 9 we strongly count on the newest innovative learning methodologies, like PBL.

- Our reference is Europe and its latest educational tendencies and policies.

- That is why we have a great interest in increasing our knowledge about STEAM practices in other European schools and promote learning of languages among our teachers and students.

- We stand for encouraging our students to develop scientific vocations, especially among girls.

- We are committed to working locally. In our STEAM projects we try to bring solutions to local problems, for example, by designing green spaces for our city or extending bike lanes.

- In our STEAM projects we work in a multi-disciplinary way, involving almost all the curricular subjects, and collaborating with public institutions such as the city council and others.

- To contextualize learning.

- To pursue Meaningful Learning.

- To increase scientific vocations, especially among girls.

- To increase the rate of girls that end up choosing scientific careers.
