Worked alongside energy auditors to determine how our building could be more sustainable.
Worked alongside historians to marry secondary data to primary data on Commonwealth War Graves
Worked alongisde professional actors and directors to stage a performance of Macbeth.
Worked alongside health professionals to respond to emergencies in simulated scenarios.
Worked with curators to develop a digital museum archive.
Worked alongside computer scientists to develop and code robots.
...and more
We achieve this through... Equity mapping
Working alongside experts, and carrying out authentic fieldwork is an integral part of our approach.
Students do the work of experts, as experts, alongside experts in the field - as opposed to hearing from experts about the work that they do.
This is a part of our regular curriculum offer, and so students learn content whilst also learning about careers - discovering passions and opening perspectives to pathways that they may not already have considered.
