Last updated: 6th June 2022

Year 7

is all about settling in to your new school and discovery. This will include things like

to help you get the most out of your time at Wyvern and be ready to join year 8.

Year 8

is all aboutexploring some of your ambitions and career ideas. This will include things like

Your Experience passport

is an important part of this process. Not only will you have chance to take part in lots of different activities and experiences, you also start to develop employability skills that employers want and collate evidence ready for writing your cv and applying for apprenticeships and college places in year 11.

WoW days

On a WoW day you have chance to talk to people doing real jobs and find out all about them. What skills and qualifications do they need? How can they get promotions and progress? and how much could you earn if you did something similar.

POD (Post 16 Options day)

Our Post 16 option day (or POD) is a chance for you to find out what's on offer in our local area. What colleges are there and where are they? What can you study? Do you have to go to college? What is an apprenticeship? You will have chance to get answers to these questions and many others.
