"Houghall College" in Durham is now part of East Durham College.

Houghall has been delivering land-based education to young people and adults from the North East for over 80 years. Having recently undergone a multi-million pound redevelopment, Houghall now includes a fantastic equine centre, small animal care unit, new social spaces, upgraded classrooms and all the facilities you'll need for land-based studies.

Subjects offered

Full-time and shorter courses in animal care, veterinary nursing, horticulture, floristry and more specific courses too including dog agility, gardening, bee keeping and more.
