Learning and Skills
in Darlington
Learning and Skills is the adult education service provided by Darlington Borough Council. They specialise in tailor-made programmes for school leavers who are unable to access other provisions.
Successful learners have the opportunity to take part in work experience programmes that may lead to an apprenticeship or work.
Programmes offered
A study programme is built around the needs and interests of each learner. A typical programme will include Maths, English and Employability Skills (including IT) with Work Experience added when appropriate.
Entry requirements:
No qualifications are needed to register for a study programme.
