Q: Is this a requirement?
A: Yes. If you're a full-time employee, this is not optional. You may experience a lapse in benefits or complete loss of coverage in 2026 if you do not complete the process.
Q: How much time should I set aside to complete enrollment?
A: If you know what decisions you're making for 2026, the process should take about 15 minutes. Take time to review the 2026 Benefit Guide and check out the 2026 Open Enrollment Information page to gather all info and educate yourself before completing the process.
Q: I've tried to log in and it's not working.
A: Enrollment will be active starting tomorrow, November 1st. Links | instructions to complete the process will be emailed tomorrow.
Q: Do I have to log in and complete enrollment if I'm a new employee and enrolled recently?
A: Yes, regardless of when you enrolled in 2025, you must complete the open enrollment process for 2026. You may experience a lapse in benefits or complete loss of coverage in 2026 if you do not complete the process.
Q: I don't plan on enrolling in a medical plan. Am I still eligible to elect dental + vision for me and my family?
A: You and eligible dependents are able to enroll in dental and vision regardless of your medical enrollment status. You can simply decline medical and elect the other benefits. The cost of dental is $1 annually; vision is also $1 annually.
Q: I'm a part-time employee. Do I need to complete the process?
A: Part-time employee benefits are limited. They are not eligible for medical | dental | vision. It is not required for part-time employees to complete open enrollment.
Q: I'm turning 26 and aging off my parent's plan later in 2026. Do I need to complete open enrollment now?
A: Aging off another plan is considered a qualifying life event due to loss of coverage. This allows you to enroll in our plan at any point during the year. You don't need to enroll in a medical plan now but you will still need to complete the open enrollment process to decline at this time. Be sure to reach out to me a couple of months before turning 26 and we'll get things processed.
Q: My spouse will be turning 65 in 2026; can they stay on our plan?
A: Spouses of enrolled full-time employees are eligible to remain on our plan regardless of age. They do not have to enroll in Medicare as soon as they turn 65. There is no penalty since they're enrolled in group coverage. It is recommended that employees who are approaching this age get fully educated on their options. Please reach out if you need a referral for a consultant.
Q: Are weight loss injectable drugs covered by our plan?
A: Ozempic and Mounjaro are covered by our plan if the patient has an active type 2 diabetes diagnosis. There is no coverage for Wegovy, Zepbound, etc. for any other diagnosis.
