American Fidelity representatives will be coming to buildings the week following Thanksgiving to assist those who need to complete enrollment.  If your online enrollment was not complete before the cutoff on the 16th, you will need to meet with a representative to ensure you don't experience a lapse or loss of coverage.

Plan Updates | Rate Changes | General Information 

Medical | Dental | Vision Rates

• There will be no increase in medical insurance rates in 2026.

• Dental will remain $1 Annually 

• Vision will remain $1 Annually

• Medical premiums are collected 1 month in advance.  If you are a new enrollee for 2026, you will see your first premium deduction at that time.  

Medical | Dental | Vision Plans 

There are no changes to medical, dental, and vision plan offerings this year. 

Anthem Medical Plan - High Deductible Plan 1 (HDHP1) 

Annual out of pocket max increase | No changes to High Deductible Plan 2 or PPO medical plans | IRS Mandated

• Individual $3,200 ➡️ $3,400

• Family $6,400 ➡️ $6,600

Health Savings Account (HSA) 

Limits increased in 2026 | Must be enrolled in a high deductible health plan

• Individual $4,300 ➡️ $4,400

• Family $8,550 ➡️ $8,750

• Additional catch-up contribution for ages 55+ remains at $1,000

• You will choose your per pay HSA deduction amount during the online enrollment process. New HSA accounts must be opened online through UMB Bank by December 20, 2025. 

Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 

Limits increased in 2026 | Not available to those who elected an HSA

• $3,300 ➡️ $3,400

• Must re-enroll each year!!! No automatic rollover!

Dependent Care Reimbursement

Limits increased in 2026

• $5,000 ➡️ $7,500

• Married filing separately $2,500 ➡️ $3,750

• Must re-enroll each year!!! No automatic rollover!

The effective date for health benefits selected during open enrollment will be January 1, 2026.  Deductions for January medical premiums will begin 12/5; premiums  are paid one month in advance.

American Fidelity products will be effective February 1, 2026.  Deductions for American Fidelity products will begin on 1/5/26 (one month in advance). 

 Elections made during open enrollment will be in effect for all of 2026 unless an employee has an IRS qualifying life event (QLE) during the year.

Group Life Insurance Policy & Group Long Term Disability  - New York Life

These policies are automatically in place for full time employees and are effective for the duration of employment.  These do not require annual enrollment and are separate from optional American Fidelity products offered during open enrollment.  

Retirement Accounts

Retirement contributions can be changed any point during the year and are not part of the open enrollment process.

Please review the instructions carefully before starting the enrollment process to avoid lock-outs.

• Please review the self enrollment instructions + password requirements carefully to avoid account lock-outs. 

• Do not use saved | pre-populated | previously created passwords.  This will log you in to the incorrect file (2025) and the 2026 enrollment will not be completed. Only utilize the password combination provided in the 2026 Self-Enrollment Instructions.
