Create a mandala representing the five (5) basic beliefs of Hinduism.

• The mandala can be either digital (Google Slides)...or...on paper (upload an image to Classroom)

• On the slide/image, EXPLAIN how the five (5) basic beliefs are represented in your mandala

The 5 Basic Beliefs that must be included are:

1. Polytheism

2. Brahman

3. Dharma

4. Karma

5. Samsara

Good ideas:

• Change the background color of your slide to better represent the idea(s) you are trying to convey (especially if you are designing your mandala)

• Select a high-quality (HD) image as your background

• Insert additional images (transparent background) on top of your main image to enhance the design

• DON'T USE DEFAULT FONT!!! Change it from Arial

How good is good?

Demonstrate your presentation and design skills for layout and formatting your mandala - continue to practice and enhance your ability to develop digital content!

Your mandala will be evaluated based on four (4) categories:

1. Five (5) images representing the basic beliefs of Hinduism

2. An explanation of why the images reflect each of the five (5) specific Hindu beliefs

3. Composition and writing (spelling and grammar) used in the explanation/caption

4. Design and Layout (creativity)
