Women's History Month is a time to reflect on the courage of women in past generations and to celebrate how their efforts and bravery afforded women the opportunities and freedoms they have today.

Plan of Activities

Daily announcements will be read on prominent women in history. Classroom teachers will also be provided access to a bilingual Google Slide presentation of these women with a read-aloud and YouTube biography video for each. 

Grades 3-5

Each classroom will receive pennants with an influential female figure to complete research. 

Grades K-2 

Each classroom will receive coloring pages and short stories about influential women. 

The school will participate in a bilingual Women’s History Month scavenger hunt. 

Music by prominent female singers will be played on the loudspeaker daily.
