National Hispanic Heritage Month is annually celebrated from September 15 to October 15 in the United States to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.
Grades 3-5 will collaborate to complete a giant poster of an influential Hispanic person.
Grades K-2 will color posters, crowns and hats. Students will read the Bilingual Daily Morning Announcements about an influential person.
Hispanic music will be played as students enter the building.
Our bilingual students will read The Pledge in Spanish.
The main hallway bulletin board will recognize Influential Hispanic men and women.
Older grades will participate in a bilingual Hispanic Heritage Month Scavenger Hunt.
The staff will complete puzzles in Spanish.
