By the time a student reaches high school band, they should consider renting or purchase a step-up instrument. Students still playing an instrument they purchased as a beginner can be held back by the level of instrument they are playing. Marching band is very hard on instruments due to the outdoors and increased use of the instrument compared to middle school band. We suggest students keep their beginner model instrument for marching band and purchase an intermediate, advanced, or professional level instrument for concert season (indoor playing only). Online purchases are not recommended. It is always best to play the instrument, and make sure it is the best fit for the student.
The Bandwagon is our primary vendor.
Mr. Henry visits each school weekly to repair instruments.
