Our private teachers work one on one with band students of all grades and at every band campus. Private lessons are a great way to speed up the learning process and help students gain confidence by working on specific skills one on one with a professional on their instrument. Students who take lessons typically place higher on chair tests, at contests, and have a greater satisfaction in their band career due to improving their skills.

Please read the following important information about how it works:
Student, parent, and lesson teacher must receive a confirmation email from the band director before the scholarship is approved and applied towards lessons.
Any lessons taught before the student receives the approval email from the band director will be charged full cost to the parent. Scholarships cannot be applied retroactively and are only good for the current school year and summer. Contact the school band director if you have not heard back within 1 week.
You must reapply each school year in August.
Once you receive the approved email from the band director, contact the private lesson teacher to set up lessons.
