Positions available are Drum Major (to audition for DM you must be a sophomore or older), Section Leader (including guard and percussion), Librarian, and Uniform Crew.
Leaders should always be eligible, at every rehearsal, clear communicators, good problem solvers, and should be top performers on their instruments.
Be prepared to play, march and teach/call commands for all positions (except Librarian or Uniform Crew). Drum majors will do that plus salute and conduct to a recording and/or live players.
Band Leadership Audition Process-
Round 1- online application, resume, contract, teacher recommendations- Due April 8 by 4:30pm
Round 2- by invite only, leadership camp May 4-5 after school
Round 3- by invite only, submit videos due May 7 by 4:30pm
Round 4- by invite only, live audition, May 14 after school

Contract (print out below and give to Ms. Ballaro) Staple this on top of your band resume and turn them in to Ms. Ballaro.
Teacher recommendations- give your teachers this link- Teacher recommendation form for each teacher you have this semester (not your band directors). Your teachers will complete this form online at the blue link.
These items are due April 8th by 4:30 p.m. Do not ask to turn in late paperwork.
Students who pass Round 1 will be invited to attend leadership camps on May 4-5 after school.
