Greetings Schoolcraft Families,
As quarantine numbers are rising, we will give quarantined students an opportunity to join their classroom via Google Meet Video for Morning Meeting, Math, and English/Language Arts. Students will be able to access the recorded lesson on google classroom for your convenience. They will be able to hear and see the lesson as the teacher presents. They will not be able to see their classmates to protect everyone's privacy. Please be mindful of the volume on your end. You may want it turned up to ensure the teacher can be heard as he/she moves throughout the room during a lesson. Students will not be able to engage with the teacher or classmates during this feed. Students will keep their microphone on mute while accessing the presentation. Teachers will record and post for only those students in quarantine. If your child has not accessed Google Classroom in recent months we advise you re-enter all log-in credentials (student ID, user name, password) to ensure he/she is able to enter the meet. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we begin implementation of this new process.
Our goal is to continue with in-person instruction, however, we need your cooperation and diligence to make this happen. It is of the
utmost importance that you continue to perform daily health screenings. If someone in your household is not feeling well or is awaiting test results please keep your child home. Superintendent Lindberg is watching numbers at the elementary level and may put individual buildings back to remote learning should numbers warrant such action. Help us stay in school by keeping students home who have symptoms or are awaiting a family member's test results.
