Greetings Schoolcraft Families,
As we bring this year to a close, I would like to thank you. Thank you for working with us, trusting us and helping us during one of the craziest years of our lives. We are a community of learners and this year it really took a village to educate each child. We pulled out every trick in the book and I know you did as well. Seeing our students back in classrooms this year has been such a joy. Thank you for keeping your child home when they weren't feeling well, quarantining when asked, returning to remote instruction when needed and going with the flow every step of the way.
This summer, Schoolcraft's renovations continue. Every classroom will get new carpet, paint, cabinets, bookcases and new fireproof doors. Interior window and door frames will be replaced, new paint will be applied along all of the trim and some new sidewalks will be added. We look forward to sharing our complete renovation with you !
We are in the process of making class lists based on the number of students we have enrolled currently. Many families who chose home schooling or private school due to child care issues during COVID, expressed interest in returning to Schoolcraft for the 2021-2022 school year. If you have neighbors or friends that plan on enrolling for next year, please encourage them to do so as soon as possible. We want to make sure we have enough teachers to cover the students who may be returning to us next year.
There are many opportunities to stay connected to school this summer such as STEAM CAMPS and SWEET READS. I hope you can find time for leisurely reading and relaxing as well as time to feed your curiosity through new experiences.

Congratulations to Alora Thibodeau and Hailey Bortz for meeting their Successmaker minutes last month. They were chosen among 25 other winners across the district. Great Job!!
Third graders saw trash on the playground and took it upon themselves to make a difference. They asked for bags and gloves and together they cleaned up the playground in less than 20 minutes.
