Description
Building on the skills from Woods 1, this course takes students deeper into the art of woodworking with a focus on cabinet making principles. Students will learn advanced techniques in design, construction, and finishing, applying these skills to create more complex projects such as cabinetry and furniture. Emphasis will be placed on precision, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, as students develop a higher level of skill and begin working with a wider variety of materials. Creativity and quality are key expectations for every project.

This hands-on course will help you as you develop an in demand skill. You will learn welding processes used in today’s manufacturing and construction industry. The focus will be on GAS METAL ARC WELDING (mig welding), OXY-FUEL CUTTING and SHEILDED METAL ARC WELDING (stick welding). Coveralls, welding cap, jacket, hood and cap recommended.

In this hands-on course you have made it to the highest level of welding. You will be able to test your welding skills by performing an AWS welding test to earn a welding qualification.
